A MONTH OF MINISTRY
A MONTH OF MINISTRY! WEEKS OF WELCOME What a blast these past few weeks have been at UTD! Almost everyday we got the opportunity to host events for students to welcome them to campus and introduce them to the FOCUS ministry. Our first week was filled with board game nights and Zombie Tag, a wild version of regular tag, that left everyone tuckered out by the end of the event. I got to meet and converse with so many new students and talk to them about their excitement for the upcoming school year. We spent a lot of time outside this week meeting passing students on their way to class. Luckily we had our trusty tent that kept us out of the rain and heat. I got to meet even more students from all over the world and hear about what brought them to UTD. It was so wonderful getting to tell them all about what we do at FOCUS, from our small groups that we call CORE, and our Friday Night Fellowships where all of the UTD FOCUS students meet for weekly sermons and worship!
